Huile Sublime
for whom, why

For skin that has something to say.

Making skin glow is not difficult. Making it glow without leaving a film is another matter.

In this bottle, four organic plant oils make up 89% of the formula, in this order: 34% macadamia and 23% hazelnut, the two lightest, which create the dry feel; 20% carrot macerate in sunflower oil, which gives the amber colour and warm tone; and 12.2% raw coconut, the nourishing part. Everything else fits into six lines, each with a purpose. Natural jasmine aroma for the scent — not a single essential oil, which is why this oil can be used on the face. Micas for the glow; a texture agent that keeps them suspended rather than letting them settle at the bottom of the bottle; tocopherol to protect the oils from oxidation; and bisabolol for soothing care. Ten ingredients in total. The micas themselves do not treat the skin: they reflect light, and that is all we ask of them. The softness and comfort come from the oils underneath.

how it works

Three actives,
three targeted effects.

01

Organic macadamia
softens.

The main oil in the formula (34%). It absorbs in seconds and leaves the skin supple, with no film or sticky feel. It gives Huile Sublime its dry-oil texture, making it suitable for the face as well as the body.

02

Organic hazelnut oil
keeps it light.

23% of the formula. A fine, lightweight oil that helps the blend absorb faster: it is why one drop through the lengths smooths the hair without weighing it down.

03

Organic carrot macerate
adds warmth.

20% of the formula: carrot root macerated in organic sunflower oil. It gives the oil its amber colour and adds a warm tone to the skin. Its INCI includes tocopherol, which protects the oils from oxidation.

Carrot root macerated in organic sunflower oil. Amber colour, a warm tone on the skin, and tocopherol that helps protect the formula over time.

the nourishment
Raw organic coconut
Cocos Nucifera Oil — certified organic
The most nourishing of the four oils. It brings comfort after a shower without weighing the formula down: the surrounding dry oils carry it with them.

Golden micas
Mica, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, CI 77491, CI 77891
One natural mica and one synthetic mica, with their pigments. We say it plainly: they do not nourish the skin; they leave a golden satin finish that catches the light and washes away with soap and water. All the care comes from the oils underneath.

What our

The questions
we are asked.

Can one oil really work for the body, face and hair? +
Yes, because the texture was designed for exactly that. The two main oils, macadamia (34%) and hazelnut (23%), are lightweight: they absorb in seconds and leave no film. What changes from one use to another is not the formula, but the amount. A few drops in the palms for the body, one to two drops on the face as a finishing touch, and just one through the lengths and ends, never on the roots. The skin on your face does not need a different oil; it needs a different dose.
Does it leave a greasy film? +
No. It is a dry oil: it absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky finish. Apply it to skin that is still slightly damp after a shower; it spreads more easily and you need less. Give it about thirty seconds before getting dressed, as with any body oil: the formula contains pigments that create the glow, so let them settle before putting on light-coloured clothes.
Do the micas look like glitter? +
No, they leave a veil. The micas create a golden satin finish on shoulders, legs or cheekbones, dosed for a reflection rather than a sparkle. To be completely clear: micas are not skincare actives and do not nourish the skin. They create a visual cosmetic effect on the skin and wash away with soap and water. The care comes from the plant oils underneath.
Why 89% organic rather than 100%? +
Because the four plant oils are certified organic and make up 89% of the formula: macadamia, hazelnut, carrot macerate in sunflower oil and raw coconut. The rest is not organic, and we would rather tell you exactly what it is than round the number up. Natural jasmine aroma. One natural mica and one synthetic mica, with their pigments, for the glow. A plant-derived texture agent that keeps them suspended instead of letting them settle at the bottom of the bottle. Tocopherol, which protects the oils from oxidation. Bisabolol, for soothing care. Six lines, each with a precise purpose.
I cannot tolerate essential oils. What about allergens? +
The formula contains no essential oils: the jasmine scent comes from a natural aroma (INCI: Aroma), which is exactly why we chose it. One point to note, however: hazelnut oil comes from a tree nut. If you are allergic to tree nuts, this product is not for you. If in doubt, patch test in the crook of your elbow 24 hours before first use, as with any new product.
