Skin types (dry, oily, combination, sensitive) are a simplification used by the cosmetic industry. The same skin can be dehydrated and oily, or sensitive and mature. At basic., we reason by desired outcome: hydrate, nourish, soothe, balance, firm, purify, illuminate. More accurate, more useful.

What if my skin changes with the seasons?
